About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience in the field, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in Healthcare Administration in 2005. I have a Master’s degree from the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work (Go Coogs!) earned in 2009.

Over the past ten years I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings working with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, addiction, chronic health concerns, relationships/parenting and more. Through these experiences, it has allowed me to see that increased self awareness can make a huge difference in the ability to grow through these challenges. One of the most important aspects being the ability to feel comfortable and work towards growth with a connected and supportive environment. I believe in being open-minded and non-judgmental when someone shares their personal story or experiences with me.

Through my own life experiences, I recognized the benefit of therapy and the growth possible with the kind of support that allows for change, if you are an active participant. I believe in being supportive, but also with an approach that is direct and honest with a manner that is kind. I hope to hear from you soon, to be part of working with you on your journey to process, heal, discover, understand, or challenge and change.

As a an individual living with an invisible illnesses of endometriosis and adenomyosis, I understand certain aspects of the challenges of living with chronic illness and the struggles related to seeking care, getting care and dealing with the unknown. I am here to support all of those feelings that come with this struggle, move through them with you.
